Happy Halloween! Hello to our old friends, and all our new subscribers who signed up at MCM. I’m Michael Duxbury, organiser at London TIN, sleepwriting this in a post-con fugue after an intense but fantastic weekend.
For reasons that are probably obvious, this month’s newsletter is going to be a bit shorter than usual - but there’s a few events and games definitely worth letting you know about, courtesy of our extended network.
If you like what you read, why not follow us on our other socials? We’re on Discord here, Facebook here, and Twitter here. Feedback from folks who’ve bought, read or played our games is especially welcome!
Meetups & Events
The next London Tabletop Industry Networking Meetup is this Thursday 2nd November, at The Lamb in Bloomsbury from 7pm. We’ll be talking MCM, Dragonmeet, and anything else that’s going on in the industry and in our lives. If you can’t find us around the pub, ask at the bar - we might be hiding in the upstairs room, which is a little tricky to get to.
The following meetup will be on Thursday 7th December, also at The Lamb.
Our current plan is to keep up our first-Thursday-of-the-month schedule into next year, with meetups on the 4th January and 1st February. With a bit of luck, we’ll be changing our meetup venue to The Arcanist’s Tavern, a wonderful new immersive board game café opening in Shoreditch. More details to follow as we have them.
New & Recent Releases
All the Damn Vampires by Ringo Stalin is a a TTRPG for vampires who just want to have fun, without the stress of being slain, or having to put on a masque. Think Kiefer Sutherland on a carousel at the start of The Lost Boys. Get it now at a price of your choosing - it’s a perfect choice for Halloween gaming.
Cut-out Catacomb by Tori Truslow is an activity-zine with a selection of games and exercises you can use to design dungeons, creatures and other elements of a game setting. If you missed the chance to pick up a physical version at MCM, the digital version is now available on Tori’s itch.io (though you’ll probably want to get a physical version at Dragonmeet too!).
Bundles, Crowdfunding, & Subscriptions
Ritual, by our Manchester TIN friends Hive Mind Games, is currently being crowdfunded on Kickstarter. It’s a horror solo RPG, where you will be physically enacting spells and rituals in the fight to save your immortal soul from eternal damnation. The campaign has funded, but additional support would really help to hit more stretch goals. Pledge your soul at this link.
