Hi folx,
Apologies for the delay in this release, but life. Just. Kept. Happening.
Happily, one of those happenings was the Stamp Quest prize draw, linked below, so it’s not all bad.
Things continue to move behind the scenes as we adapt to our increasing member count (530+ on the Discord server alone) and I should be able to say more Soon(TM).

Our last TIN Talk was “What the heck is GPSR & CE Testing? (aka how do I keep selling my games in the EU)” by Samuel Steele of MisfitHobbies. It covered the EU’s new General Product Safety Regulations (GPSR), what impact they can have on tabletop creators in the UK, and how creators can navigate the new requirements. If you missed it, the recording of this talk—and all our previous TIN Talks—can be found at the TIN Talks Archive.
TIN Talks will resume again (hopefully) next month.
Stamp Quest took place at UK Games Expo a month ago, and since then weary adventurers have been submitting their claims for the treasure. The prize draw was held on 30th June, hosted by TIN’s own Ryan Wheeldon and Taylor Navarro.
Congratulations to everyone who won, and thanks to all the prize givers and our incredible sponsors, Leisure Games, SoulMuppet and Three Sails Studios.
New & Recent Releases
MoonlitBard (aka Ryan Wheeldon) presents The LGBTQIArmoury! Grab 14 new Pride-themed magic items in four different versions, including a system agnostic version, both 2024 and 2014 versions of D&D 5e and Daggerheart. Pick up the whole set with the Complete LGBTQIArmoury bundle!
Each item is presented with a gorgeous piece of full colour art, a short section of flavour text to inspire adventures, and rules for four tiers of item, starting with something that might be found in a goblin camp and ending with the weapon of a legendary hero.
Out of the Fold is Kayla Dice’s latest collection of games, all designed to be played with nothing more than a pen, a piece of paper, and a deck of cards.
Play as magicians, thieves, and dream wanderers in short games that focus on storytelling, but also have cool mechanics that you can unlock and utilise through building certain hands of cards. You can purchase the paperback here.
The Devil’s Bridge by YellowMadhouse is a Slavic-themed fantasy adventure, compatible with D&D 5th edition. Suitable for characters of levels 1 to 5, the adventure is inspired by the real legends and folklore from the creators’ homelands, and has been produced following a successful Kickstarter with the assistance of relevant experts. A hardback Collector’s Edition is available to buy, but the digital edition is available online for free!
Constantinople by Theo Young is open for playtesting. Take the role of a monster hunter in 7th century Constantinople, jewel of the eastern Roman empire. The game puts players in the role of outcasts from society forced to hunt monsters for a living. Choose one of one of four playtest characters, complete with their own backstories. Your character sheet comes with narrative tickboxes that could help achieve interesting things without needing a roll. Play with near zero prep with player-driven narrative and a simple 5d6 dice roll system. Flip a coin to tempt fate, or invite doom.
Bundles, Crowdfunding, & Subscriptions
Drakonym is a new ttrpg based around building a unique bond with a dragon companion. Fans of the Eragon books or the How To Train Your Dragon movies will be interested in this new crowdfunding campaign, featuring eight distinct families of dragons, as well as group and solo rules. The game also features spellcrafting, allowing you to create your own custom spells. A full high-fantasy world and setting guide is included in the Herald’s Guide, meaning you can start running games without having to build your own world.
It’s launching on Backerkit soon, so sign up to be alerted when it goes live.
UK Tabletop Industry Network has a Patreon! All contributions help us support up-and-coming creators in the tabletop industry without a paywall or other barrier to entry. Patreon funding is the main way we cover up-front fees for conventions and events. The more funding we get, the more events we can attend, and the more games by aspiring creatives we can put in front of excited gamers that might otherwise miss them.
If you support the Patreon at the £5 tier or above, you’ll get free access to a growing selection of great games contributed by our members, including LadyBeaste by Michael Duxbury, Drama Llamas by Yvris Burke, Biome by Black Armada Games, and Slasher and All Bastard by Sam Armstrong.
Contributors to this month’s edition of the TIN newsletter were Ryan Wheeldon, Jack Terry, Josh Gane, and Stephen Morffew. If you would like to contribute to the newsletter, drop a message in the #tin-volunteering channel of the UK TIN Discord or contact Stephen Morffew via email at stepintorpgs(at)outlook(dot)com.
